Dinosaur Discovery

A group of school children visit the Jurassic Coast, hunting for fossils. Whilst there something magical happens and a dinosaur appears and invites them to tour around the Dorset coastline. After many adventures, and a meeting with Mary Anning, the children are left with the message of how important it is to look after our beautiful planet. A vocal warm up leads into two songs, with actions, which incorporates pitch and rhythm work. There are also musical activities that use voice and movement to support the telling of the story. The children will also be asked to create scenes that they will perform during the story telling.

A global theme of caring for the planet is woven into the story as well as highlighting the place of Mary Anning in the history of archaeology.
